Wilburton, Oklahoma is a beautiful small town located in Latimer County. The population is just under 3,000 people, making it a great place to live and visit. Wilburton is home to some unique attractions, picturesque lakes and a number of hiking trails, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. Wilburton also offers a selection of restaurants, shops, and attractions, making it a great place to visit for any occasion. With its friendly atmosphere and beautiful views, Wilburton is a great place to call home or visit for a weekend of relaxation and exploration.

There are plenty of events happening in Wilburton to keep you busy!  From the Relics and Rods Car Show in June to the Fall Festival in October to our annual Christmas parade and extravaganza, Wilburton has something going on year-round.

Just 5 miles north of the Wilburton is Robbers Cave State Park, a true hidden gem.  The park features boating, hiking, fishing, rock climbing, horseback riding, areas for camping and picnics and so much more!  Be sure to explore the caves and walk in the footsteps of legendary outlaws like Jesse James and Belle Starr. 

About 20 miles south of Wilburton, you will find Sardis Lake.  This 14,000 acre lake is well known for some of the best bass fishing in Oklahoma.  There are also places to camp, swim, picnic and take part in water sports.  This beautiful lake is well worth a visit.  

No matter the time of year, the Talimena Drive is breathtaking. Just a short drive from Wilburton and you'll be at the gateway to one of the most scenic drives in America.    another.

Thirty miles east of Wilburton, you will find Lake Wister State Park.  This quiet park is perfect for boating, fishing, skiing, camping, hiking and so much more.
